The Renaissance

There have been many times in my life where I went through a ‘renaissance’ period, much like the bad times. I can learn a lot from these periods in time because it shows me where I have come from and what is possible. I have had many of these throughout my journey, starting in 2009 and continuing to this day. It has not always been easy, but nobody promised that life would ever be easy. It is easy for us to forget about how precious these times are and how important it is that we take all the good moments that we can. There are many bad times as well.

It was a young lady named Katie that was the product of my most recent and greatest renaissance. Life has not been easy, but the shift that occurred in my life during that time is something that I still live with to this day. I have been very fortunate to have some of the best people in my life outside my family to support me. I needed every single one of them when I needed them the most and the wisdom that I was able to impart from them is something that I will never forget. I love each and every one of them for providing me a taste of the renaissance in my life because I learned a lot about the true talent that I had for many things that I did not previously consider.

Of course, there have been bad times as well. Through all the heartbreaks, deaths, destruction of social life, backstabbing, heartlessness, and pain that I suffered, I am still here and I am stronger because of those experiences. It has also led to many things that i still hold to this day and it is something that brings great meaning to my life. Many people in life forget that life goes through good and bad times, but they are not times that you cannot handle. Take what you can out of these times and don’t forget about the other when times seem particularly good or bad.
