Ivanpah International Airport (IVP)

Ivanpah Valley Airport is a planned airport to be developed in Primm, Nevada, to the south of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is to be a reliever airport to McCarran International Airport. The airport is planned to serve Hite Airlines Domestic operations and the majority of long distance international operations by all airlines. It will have over 6,000 acres, three terminals, and four runways when completed. It is planned to be a reliever airport to McCarran.

It will be connected to Las Vegas by Las Vegas Boulevard, Interstate 15, a planned high speed rail, and a maglev train, in addition to taxi, bus, and other car services to casinos. It is planned to have 3 terminals and 100 gates.

Terminal 1 will house all Hite Airlines operations (Domestic and International) and will have 65 gates on three concourses.

Terminal 2 will house domestic airlines and will have 15 gates on one concourse.

Terminal 3 will house international airlines and will have 20 gates on one concourse. It will be compatible with the largest airliners.

The airport will have a large cargo operation and will have charter and private services as well. It has a catchment area of other parts of Las Vegas and even parts of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It has a main purpose of relief to other major airports.

Top domestic destinations are planned to be cities like: Denver, C-City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Seattle, and Chicago.

Top international destinations are planned to be cities like: London, Paris, Beijing, Shanghai, Calgary, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Frankfurt.

Major competition will come from McCarran International, Los Angeles area airports, and Phoenix area airports.
