How can we have faith in our own humanity?

In reaction to the recent tragedy in Sydney and the attack a day later on a school in Pakistan, people are coming together and showing their solidarity on social media. It has restored my faith in humanity somewhat and it transcends religious beliefs more importantly. It is a great showing into what it means to be human and what the covenant means to all of us. We have faith in one another when we do something because it is the human thing to do, not because they do particular religious works or they have faith in something. Events like this transcend religion. We can have faith in other people without being bound by religions of the world. It is about time that we look to have faith in our own humanity. We should not and we cannot chastise other people for being of a specific religion.
