Fake News

The biggest problem on Facebook is not fake news, it is the fact that there are people that believe this fake news. This is a huge problem. It is not good for people to base their entire ideology on something that is not real at all. This will have devastating impacts on those around them and it will be a huge shocker to their life when they see the truth for the first time. The reality is that the reader is more dangerous than the news. Anyone can go online to view fake news and make fake news, but there are people who will believe what the fake news says and will base an entire system of belief around it.

The best way to combat this is to educate them on the difference between things that are fake and the things that are not. These are hard to distinguish, especially in the context of social media. The point is that one needs to be vigilant and make sure that the views that are represented comes from sources that can be more reliable. When people are exposed to only part of the truth, they will believe only that part of the truth. There needs to be a better way.
