St. Nick

Before Santa Claus, there was St. Nick. This legend came about from a real person who practiced one of the most important virtues of life. It is one of the virtues that embodies the season. It is the virtue that brings about the life of the Christs. This is gratitude. We need to be grateful for the things that we have and we need to have the ability to give to those that do not have as much. When we recognize this and practice this in our own life, then we will have many blessings come to us based on our circumstances.

There are not a lot of things in the world that are more important than giving a part of your life to help those who are in the greatest need. Think about what will happen once we make a decision to do some good. When we think about it and act on it, good things will happen to us as well. There rare many that do so and get nothing from it, but we need to make the gratitude go around. There is a lot of this that happens throughout the season, but there is a lot more to be done and it needs to be done all the time.
