Good Listeners

There are a lot of people in the world that are living in an ego lifestyle. The whole purpose of their life is on the “me”. The Christs talked about we and us. They did not talk about how great they were and how their plan was the best. They pointed out the faults of those that did things in vain. They pointed out the faults in those that lived for the ego. We should make it our mission to do less of the talking and more of the listening. It will help us in the long run by finding the faults in ourselves as well as helping to better understand others.

The best listeners come from the Christs. They did the right thing because it was the right thing to do. They did not do the right thing to boast. They told it like it was. They did not talk about themselves, they made an example for all of us through their example. Instead of just talking the talk, they actually walked the walk. The Christs really listened to the needs of their people and the people of the world to have something different happen. There are a lot of people who talk and a few people who listen. We should make for a world where few people talk and many people listen.

There are a lot of people who do not listen well. It is hard to find the people in the world that really want to listen. We should begin the process of being a good listener by listening to those friends and family around us. We should enjoy the benefits of being able to listen to other people and we will see how our perspective on life changes. Be the change that you wish to see in the world. Lead by example.
