I Don’t Want to Hear That

Many times in our life we will hear things that we do not want to hear. There is no getting away from some of the bad things that we read, see, and hear. It is just the nature of the world. There are a lot of people who do not care about the things that they hear because it may not affect them. There are some things that people do not want to hear that will call them to do something based on a lie. They will be more devastated when they see the truth. We need to cope better with the things that we hear, even if we do not want to hear it.

The Christs said and heard things that many people around them found appalling. The things that they said and the things that they heard brought their life down different directions. The things that we say to others and the things that we hear can have the same effect on us. We should not discount the power of hearing and the power of words. They will offend some and enlighten others. We should not have to censor, but we should be mindful of the people that are hearing it as well.

We are living in a world where the public is private and the private is public. That means that we should be careful with the words that we say and the things that we type. It is available to everyone in the world if the wrong people are hearing them. Many of us are free to say the things that we say and we will find support. Those who do not want to hear the words are quick to offend and to attack, but we should not let their words affect us. When it all comes down to it, we should not be offended by the words of others and we should be a good example of what to say and when to say it and who to say it to.
